Retirement reset

Bryan, Texas, Retirement Community near College Station

Retirement reset.

Your beloved

BOredom doesn’t stand a chance

You know, sitting still may be the quickest way to age. What’s more, boredom may be one of the most potent ways to develop a general dissatisfaction with life, a feeling of disconnection from valuable experiences, and eventually, a deep loneliness could set in.

Around here, we believe in whole person wellness which includes physical, intellectual, spiritual and social wellness as well as fostering a sense of purpose that keeps one engaged in contributing to the world around them. Because of this philosophy and our commitment to fight away loneliness and boredom, we have a robust collection of life enriching opportunities in addition to a standing invitation for residents to jump start their own clubs, passion projects and gatherings.

Unique among retirement communities in Bryan, TX, our proximity to A&M’s stimulating instructors, challenging professors, and exciting productions means we always have a full and well-received calendar. Today, say you choose a sketch class in the art studio, nutrition class in the chapel, aerobics in the heated pool, Howdy Hour in the Bistro or a symphony concert on campus (or all five). Keep it up for even just a month or 2, and you’re bound to feel more connected, stimulated and challenged than if you continued to live at the old homestead without these opportunities right outside your door.

Check out what our residents are up to this week by looking at our Lifestyle Calendar!

Methodists and non-Methodists alike are invited — with one caveat.

As long as you’re at least 62, you satisfy our charter. Otherwise, regardless of your gender, race, religion, disability, or nationality — likewise for your small dog or cat — if you’re an active adult, you might be quite happy with Arbor Oaks at Crestview. And we’d certainly love to see and tell you what makes this particular retirement community in Bryan-College Station, Texas so special.
